Tanzanian AA Arabica beans are grown on the slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt Meru. We use a blend of both, to give you a coffee very true to Tanzania. Coffee grown here tends to be medium to full-bodied. The taste is fairly rich in flavor, with mild floral notes. There is even a hint of honey to offset the natural wine-like tannins that many African coffee’s carry at the finish.
We set out to produce a classic American cup of coffee. To do this we selected beans that have been part of the American palate for over 200 years. From Brazil, the distinct flavor that comes from coffee grown at lower elevations also means much lower acidity. Our beans are from the Cerrado region. They are round and sweet, excellent for blending. Our Colombian Arabica beans come from the Sierra Nevada region, known for their stronger fruit component and acidity. They are vibrant, but not overpowering. Together they make a classic cup of American coffee.
Arabica Beans from highlands of Guatemala produce several of the world’s finest and most distinctive coffees. Our beans come from the Valley San Rafael Uias in the Antigua region. This coffee is known for its complex nuances of smoke, spice, light floral, even chocolate flavor. This blend is a great morning cup of coffee. The acidity is low, but comes through as a bright aftertaste.
